Beyond the Rubber Chicken:  How to Create a Network that Works for You

How many networking events have you attended with the goal to meet more people, build your network and grow your business only to return home to realize that the only thing you gained from the event was indigestion from another Rubber Chicken Dinner?  There is a fine art to networking, to meeting the right people and putting your network to work for you.  Learn how to establish a plan that will help you choose the right networking events, meet the people and use those contacts  to help your business grow.

Lori King-Taylor, M.Ed. has extensive experience in leadership development and organizational effectiveness and has worked with a wide variety of industries including automotive, financial services, manufacturing, aerospace, technical and non-profit organizations. Ms. King-Taylor specializes in helping companies and their employees develop the skills and strategies needed to improve individual, team and organizational performance.

A highly effective workshop facilitator, consultant and executive coach, she has worked with individuals at all levels at the organization. She specializes in human performance development including areas of effective communication skills, executive image, leadership development, motivation, conflict resolution, meeting facilitation and change management.

Ms. King-Taylor holds a Master of Education degree in Training and Organizational Development from Penn State University. She is certified to administer the Professional DynaMetric Program (PDP), the Index of Emotional Intelligence as well as the DiSC Profile.

The last half hour of each Lunch & Learn is reserved for networking, so bring plenty of business cards. The Lunch & Learn will be held at the Chamber of Commerce at 225 Church Street in downtown Huntsville.

The cost of the Lunch & Learn is $15.  Reservations are required. 

Important Note: Lunch registrations and/or cancellations must be received no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday before the Lunch and Learn.  If you are unable to attend and do not cancel by the deadline, you will be billed.

Credit card payment is available at the time of online registration. Cash and check (payable to WBCNA) are accepted at the door.
